About us
Vilnius Tribal Festival is the biggest event in the Baltic countries dedicated to Tribal Bellydance styles. It is organized by Nadežda Maeki and the multidisciplinary space Heartcore studio.
Our festival was held in 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. We have been hosting such world known Tribal Fusion Bellydance and FatChanceBellyDance® Style teachers as Kira Lebedeva (Ukraine), Sylvia Yssei (Spain), Melli Sarina (Germany), Isabel De Lorenzo (Italy), Dani Niemietz (Germany), Agata Zakrzewska (Poland), Milana (Russia), Katarzyna Lidia Weichert (Poland), Taisa Jah Surya Gontar (Ukraine) and Iza Cichowska (Poland).
In 2025 our Show and Open Stage featured more than 60 performers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Spain, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Finland and Czech Republic.
Our goal is to promote dance culture and performer development by providing high-quality dance shows, workshops and performance projects. We also strive to create a strong and supportive international dance community and to spend meaningful and fun time together.

Thank you again from the deepest of my heart for having me as a teacher and dancer at the Vilnius Tribal Festival. The whole weekend and also the time of preparation were such an inspiring experience. The festival is so full of warmth and lovely and dedicated participants. My ballet teacher always said, we would automatically gather the people around us that match our vibes as long as we stay authentic. You created a space for our community that is so full of life and love. The level of professionalism was exceptional and at the same time there was so much time for spending time. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to come back to Vilnius again.

The Vilnius Tribal Festival is a wonderful experience in all meanings. The organization is super kind and competent. The locations are very nice – as for the workshops as for the show, which was in a beautiful, historical concert hall. The city is people-friendly, you can walk everywhere, see Art, interesting Architecture, and easily have good food. The dance community is amazing: it’s a mix of local dancers with the neighbours from the Baltic area, from Northern Europe in general and, surprisingly, from several different countries too – from Cyprus to Greece to Italy and France and Germany – creating a friendly and varied context. The Vilnius Tribal Festival must be discovered!

2023 edition when you hosted me with Staging Project is always in my heart. It was all in smallest nuances how thoughtfully and responsibly you approached all the details: taking care of me, other teachers and all participants, organizing all venues, schedules and activities and especially how you add a warm touch of communication and creating real community in each moment of the Festival. This is a precious experience.

I came to the festival for the 3rd time and every time it welcomes with warm atmosphere. I feel relaxed here. This time I danced at the Gala and went to 2 workshops. They both were inspiring. I had a good time training and learning. I also had a lot of fun supporting the dancers on the Open Stage from the audience. Thank you for the videos / photos from the workshops and the show.
